What to Expect During Our Inspection

Communication is very important to us.

  • When you schedule an inspection with our company, you will receive an email with your appointment date and time, plus some information to help you prepare for our visit.
  • Three days before your appointment you will receive an email reminder.
  • The business day before your appointment, we will call to confirm your appointment.
  • The day of your appointment your technician will call you 10-15 minutes prior to our arrival.

Our chimney sweep technicians are CSIA-Certified Specialist professionals that attend continuing education classes yearly to ensure that we are delivering the highest level of service. The CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) is the standard of excellence in the chimney and venting industry. They are dedicated to the training, education, and certification of chimney professionals. We take great pride in our attention to detail on each and every job. For your safety and peace of mind, all of our trucks are professionally identifiable and our technicians are in uniform.

24 hours before your appointment please remember to:

  • Stop using your fireplace, wood stove, gas fireplace or gas insert. For the safety of our technicians we need to work with an
    appliance that is completely cool.

The Day of Your Appointment:

  • Remove fragile or precious items from the area near the fireplace or wood stove. We will need about 5- 6 feet around the fireplace or stove area to be clear in order to get to our equipment in place.

Proper Sweeping & Inspection requires time:

  • Please allow approximately an hour to an hour and half on the day of your scheduled appointment so that we may provide you with the best possible service.

Once the sweeping and inspection service is completed, our technician will review your detailed report with you on a tablet. The report will also be emailed to you at time of service. Each report contains detailed images of the condition of your chimney system, inside and out. Any deficiencies or problems noted are identified, and if any corrective actions are needed, solutions for repair will be shared with you at the time of service. All solutions for repair are typed and labeled interior and exterior for your convenience.
