Clean Sweep Of Anne Arundel County Is Proud To Serve Columbia
Founder of Columbia, James Rouse, envisioned Columbia as a welcoming, tight-knit and diverse community where residents could come together to create and sustain a beautiful place to call home. We think the folks who currently reside within Columbia’s nine villages and town center would probably say that James’ vision really came to life.
Traveling to Columbia regularly for chimney service calls, Clean Sweep of Anne Arundel County technicians have been lucky enough to see that tight-knit and diverse community in action. We work with families with unique homes and unique fireplaces and have a strong appreciation of the bond between neighbors. We’ve based our business on a determination to do right by our community, so the spirit of Columbia always has and always will resonate with our team.
A Much-heralded Place To Live
It’s almost tough to keep track of how many times Columbia has been heralded as one of the country’s best places to live. Money magazine picked it as No. 4 out of 100 in 2008, and No. 8 out of 100 in 2012, just for starters.
That publication’s explanation of the draw of Columbia feels pretty spot on: Residents “get to enjoy living in a community with a diverse population, reasonable housing costs, terrific schools, miles of hiking trails, and … acres of forest, wetlands, meadows, and a historic farm complex.”
We’re proud to serve so many neighbors in Columbia, working on older masonry chimneys and new factory-built systems alike, in single-family homes, condominiums and apartments. If you live in Columbia and need any kind of chimney service, we can help!
A Few Of Our Favorite Places To Visit In Columbia
Blandair Regional Park
Blandair Park just keeps getting cooler and cooler as it grows, with places to play, enjoy nature, and more.
Merriweather Post Pavilion
Any music fan in this area already knows about Merriweather Post Pavilion, long known as one of the best concert venues in the country — Billboard called it one of the U.S.’s top three amphitheaters in 2010; Rolling Stone called Merriweather Post one of the best amphitheaters in America in 2013.
Pretty much everything about the place is awe-inspiring — from the fact that it was designed by famed architect Frank Gehry, to its location amid 40 acres of forest. Then, of course, there are the performances — everyone from the Grateful Dead to The Who played there in decades past, and today, it still hosts top names from rock to country, and beyond.
