This being the month of love and appreciation, we want to take some time to appreciate and highlight our chimney technicians and have them offer some insights!

From The Company Owners

We really depend on our technicians. They’re both the backbone and the face of our company, because they’re the ones meeting, serving, and educating our clients. They truly love what they do and they enjoy helping our clients. They really shine and make our company shine as a whole.

What makes our techs great is that they go above and beyond on their own accord. Our techs treat our clients’ homes as their own and make sure each home is left in great order when they leave — not because we tell them to, but because that’s who they are. They take a lot of pride in their work, are very knowledgeable and respectful, and go above and beyond the call of duty. If someone has a dog, they may bring along dog biscuits. They add a lot of these little personal touches to our service, and we love that they do it without us asking.

Technician name: AJ

Job Role: Certified Lead Tech

What do you enjoy most about your job? Sense of adventure, doing new things every day. Meeting people and pets

Aj’s Tip For Customers: “Creosote logs” are not a substitution for annual sweeping and inspection

Technician name: Willis

Job Role: Certified Lead Tech

What do you enjoy most about your job? I enjoy solving problems that are self evident to me and not the homeowner or other contractors.

One thing Willis would like customers to know about fireplaces or chimneys: Fireplaces are very inefficient as heating sources. Many homeowners believe that they can heat their entire home with their fireplace and today’s homes are not built this way.

Willis’ Tip For Customers: Wood stove inserts are hands down the best appliances to install. Closed systems with minimal problems that may occur.
